Letter of Moses Frostick, 1855 (2 of 2) - What work is he doing? He is only seven years old and being paid to work. Note that he would rather be a school. Is this level of literacy the same as a seven year old today? Notice also that someone, possibly a teacher or parent, has corrected his spelling.
