Farming - Iron Age - Two breeds of pig kept at Flag fen Tamworth and Saddleback. They are of the type that would have been around in the Iron Age. In very early times (Mesolithic) pigs were the main source of meat. By the Bronze and Iron ages, it had become sheep.
